Myriad Saga - Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Myriad Saga application ("the App") for iOS and Android, developed by ODiN Soft ("we", "us", or "the Service Provider"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Myriad Saga is a roguelike TRPG (tabletop role-playing game) that uses generative AI to create game content including events, scenarios, characters, and images. The App is provided as a Freemium service.

3. User Accounts

• You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or anonymous authentication.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

4. AI-Generated Content

• The App uses third-party AI services (xAI Grok, fal.ai, Google Gemini) to generate game content.
• AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected or inaccurate results. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
• You agree not to use the App to intentionally generate content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.

5. User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of content you create (character names, prompts, world settings, etc.).
• By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store and process your content as necessary to provide the service.
• You are solely responsible for the content you create and submit.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

• The App offers in-app purchases (gem packages) and subscriptions (Myriad Saga Pass).
• All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's subscription settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

7. Virtual Currency

• Gems are virtual currency used within the App. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• We reserve the right to modify gem pricing, rewards, and the virtual economy at any time.
• Purchased gems are non-transferable between accounts.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to exploit, hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App's systems.
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App.
• Abuse the AI generation features to create harmful or prohibited content.
• Create multiple accounts to exploit promotional offers or bonuses.

9. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, artwork, and game systems, is the intellectual property of ODiN Soft.
• AI-generated content created through the App is provided for your personal, non-commercial use within the App.

10. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• We are not responsible for any loss of game data, progress, or virtual currency due to technical issues.
• AI-generated content does not represent the views or opinions of ODiN Soft.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ODiN Soft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms.
• You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
• Account deletion is available in-app via Settings.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
