Myriad Saga - Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Myriad Saga application ("the App") for iOS and Android, developed by ODiN Soft ("we", "us", or "the Service Provider"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Myriad Saga is a roguelike TRPG (tabletop role-playing game) that uses generative AI to create game content including events, scenarios, characters, and images. The App is provided as a Freemium service.

3. User Accounts

• You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or anonymous authentication.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

4. AI-Generated Content

• The App uses third-party AI services (xAI Grok, fal.ai, Google Gemini) to generate game content.
• AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected or inaccurate results. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
• You agree not to use the App to intentionally generate content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.

5. User-Generated Content and AI Output

• User input text (character names, prompts, world settings, scenario summaries, and any other text you directly enter) remains your property.
• AI-generated output (images, text, stories, cards, character graphics, and any other content produced through the App's systems based on your input): ODiN Soft does not claim ownership of AI-generated output. In turn, you agree not to assert copyright or other rights (including moral rights) over AI-generated output against ODiN Soft or other users.
• You grant ODiN Soft a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, sublicensable, and modifiable license to use AI-generated output for any purpose, including but not limited to operating and improving the App, marketing and promotion, advertising, app store listings, social media posts, and our other business activities.
• For your input text and any content you publish (share) within the App, you grant ODiN Soft and other users a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide, sublicensable, and modifiable license to use such content for:
  • Operating App features (including sharing, AI-driven derivative generation, search, display, gacha, etc.)
  • Marketing and promotion of the App and ODiN Soft
• You represent and warrant that the content you submit does not infringe any third-party copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, privacy rights, or other rights, and you agree to indemnify us and any affected third party for any losses arising from breach of this warranty.
• You may freely use AI-generated output within the App and for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g., posting to social media). For commercial use, please contact us separately.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

• The App offers in-app purchases (gem packages) and subscriptions (Myriad Saga Pass).
• All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's subscription settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

7. Virtual Currency

• Gems are virtual currency used within the App. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• We reserve the right to modify gem pricing, rewards, and the virtual economy at any time.
• Purchased gems are non-transferable between accounts.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to exploit, hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App's systems.
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App.
• Abuse the AI generation features to create harmful or prohibited content.
• Create multiple accounts to exploit promotional offers or bonuses.

9. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, artwork, and game systems, is the intellectual property of ODiN Soft.
• Rights in and permitted use of AI-generated output are governed by Section 5.

10. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• We are not responsible for any loss of game data, progress, or virtual currency due to technical issues.
• AI-generated content does not represent the views or opinions of ODiN Soft.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ODiN Soft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms.
• You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
• Account deletion is available in-app via Settings.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
